[Solved] Task bar and start moved to side of screen how to get back to bottom

    My task bar and start moved to side of screen how do I get it back to bottom?

    Hello SusanCarmenaHernadez and Welcome to Computer Help Forums.

    I was going to give you directions to move the task bar back into the bottom of the screen
    manually but Microsoft has devised an automatic "fix it for me". Click on the link below
    and follow the instructions given and you'll have your taskbar back in no time.

    For any one else using Vista and Windows 7, if not wanting to use the Microsoft fixit and wishing to do it the simple way yourself, here is how!
    First, right click on a blank area of the task bar, then select "Properties", this box or window should open up :-

    Click the drop down menu as arrowed, and select "Bottom", also as shown put a tick in the box for "Lock the task bar" to prevent it moving again. Click the apply button, then the OK button.
    If for any reason you wish to have the task bar on the right, top, or left, you can move it from here too.
