The pass few weeks i have no problem with my computer fps on gaming. Recently my when i start up my computer and launch GTA V and play for 5 minutes it suddenly stutter and low fps. The problem did not solve even when i change my game to Star Wars Battlefront.

This fix only whenever i reinstall my Nvidia Driver from Nvidia Geforce Experience and its run smoothly afterwards. Whenever i start up my computer it still happen unless i reinstall Nvidia Driver.

First, i thought it was due to cpu high temp. Before, i use stock cooler by intel when i run GTA V its hit 80 - 98 Degree Celsius. Therefore, i install a new CPU cooler to reduce the cpu temp. However it does not fix the problem. There is still stuttering and low fsp.

I use RealTemp to track my temp. And i also use HitmanPro to scan through my pc for any virus/malware. it does not solve the problem. the only way to solve the problem is to reinstall Nvidia Driver after i start up my computer everytime.

    My computer specs:
    -Windows 8.1 Pro 64bits
    -Processor: i7-4790K CPU @ 4.0GHz, 4 Cores
-Memory: Kingston HyperX Savage 16GB Ram Dual Channel
    -Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero
-CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i V2 (Recently Install)
-Graphic Card: Gigabyte GTX 970 G-1 Gaming
-Powersupply: FSP Aurum CM Gold 750 W

    Hello and welcome.

80-98 deg C is definitely too high. What temp is it running now?

Are you saying you have to keep reinstalling the Nvidia driver? What shows in the Device Manager related to the driver? Any red or yellow marks?

    My CPU running 40-67 deg C after i install Corsair H80i v2.

Yes. I always start my computer i need to reinstall nvidia driver in order to fix the problem. Once i reinstall nvidia driver work smoothly throughout the day unless i restart my computer. I have a yellow mark on SM Bus controller.

Thanks for the info. Temp looks better.

You shouldn't have to reload drivers all the time. You mentioned the SM Bus controller yellow mark. What about the Nvidia driver? Does that have a mark after you restart your computer also? If not, what led you to believe you needed to reload the video driver?

I'm pretty sure the SM Bus controller driver should have come with your motherboard drivers.

There is no yellow mark regarding about the nvidia driver. Before the problem occur, i have update the nvidia driver through nvidia geforce experience. I start up my GTA V/Star Wara Battlefront after 5minutes it start to stuttering and low fps. Therefore i conclude it must be i updated the driver. But when i reinstall the nvidia driver it fix the problem. However, next day i start up my computer and i launch the game and the problem persist unless i reinstall the nvidia driver.

Good you have fixed the SM Bus controller issue.

Not sure why you are losing Nvidia drivers on reboot.
    Have to research further.

I am running Intel on this machine, and I lose Webcam Drivers every reboot.
I haven't found the answer as yet. Very strange.

Thanks for the update. Sometimes a reload is the best solution.

btw: How's it looking in the Device Manager? Is everything good?

Great. I was wondering if that SM Bus driver loaded properly. Something happened to your machine that messed up your drivers.
