I have a FRST and an ADDITIONS. I saw none of the things you mention but I make no claims of perfection. I made a notepad copy of FRST and will attach it to this post. I have had Malwarebytes 4.5.2 since Feb 12, 2022 at 6:06 pm.
    Uploaded FRST.txt is below.

I see what you mean, that's very odd.
Can you run FRST again for me and see if we get a complete report this time.

    Thanks.

    Yes, that's what we need.
Just off to work now, will go through the 2 reports when I get home.
    Thanks.

    Hi BGBG,

A bit of cleaning to do.....

Please download the attached fixlist.txt file (bottom of this post) and save it to C:\Users\William 1\Downloads\Desktop
    NOTE.
It's important that both files, FRST (the Main Program) and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine.
Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

Re-run FRST/FRST64 (which ever is installed ) and press the Fix button just once and wait.

The tool will make a log in the Download folder (Fixlog.txt).

Please post this in your next reply.
Also let me know if the original problem still exists.

    Thanks

I tried to do as you said. I used FRST/64, pressd Fix, and waited. It ran for a minute or so then stopped responding. I finally got it to close. Likely need more time to figure it out.

You just use the version of FRST that you downloaded earlier to run the scans.
Just leave it to finish. Sometimes it seems to hang but just leave it, it will eventually finish.

Oops ! I just closed my window before finishing. But I will try it using FRST. And leave it run awhile. I have 3 malwarebytes icons - one icon on desktop since installed which is to start, another in the left quick launch tray which I put there, and a third in the lower right corner tray which may mean it is running. iIt says Check for Updates, Start with Windows, some other things, and at the bottom Open and Quit malwarebytes. Are all these necessary?
Have to continue when I have more time to concentrate. Will report back. Thanks.

I appreciate the help but I am going to have to catch up a bit and plan to re-do this whole thing when I have time maybe over the weekend and will re-post then if it seems to work. I am confused and busy right now. Until reposting soon. Thanks. I think starting over is best idea.

    Hi BGBG,

To be honest, there's little point in re-doing the scans all over again....You'll only get the same results.
All you have to do is make sure that the FRST program icon and the fixlist text are in the same folder ( or both on the Desktop)
    samefol.PNG

Then click on the FRST main program
    and then click on Fix.

    frstfix.PNG

Then wait for the fix to finish.
If the fix seems to stall, don't worry just let it run ..... it will eventially finish.
some operations take longer than others, that's why it seems to stall

That's all you have to do ..... then post the fixlog report that'll come up. ( it will replace the fixlist.).

I tried a new scan, later saw it had stopped, and closed program. Then found the uploaded fixlist and Fixlog. then read that I should just let ir run. So I restarted. I a m posting these but I will wait this time to see if it fisnishes then re-post if different and if it continues. Sorry but this is new to me. Just wanted to make sure you saw the first result. Now it is 2:40 pm.

I am getting confused by all this. I am starting fresh scan at 2:50 PM. The one I just had started stopped in a few minutes. I will let ths one run.

It keeps stopping every few inutes. Should I click the "X", close the program. or just leave it alone?

    Hi BGBG,

The reason for all the 'Not found' lines in the fixlog is because you had already ran the fix, so when you ran it a second time there was nothing to find.
Back to the original problem .... are you still getting the ' sload.su' messages?

I am starting over. Must be doing something wrong. Whenever the program stops I lose my Forum login and must re Login. Just ran it again. It finished in a few minutes.I used FRST64 on desktop and am uploading the Fixlog that appeared. Did not open it yet. I deleted all the other attempts. Have Fixlog and FRST on desktop and set computer so stays on.
I am uploading message before I restart.

That's because running the fixlist will remove all temp files etc .... so don't run it anymore.

You have now run FRST 8 times ..... I think that's more than enough.
Just right click on all the FRST icons and select delete .... let's get rid of everything now.

I thought I posted some later posts but do not see them now. Were they removed? I finished page 2 and thought I was posting more. Now I do not see it. I deleted all the FRSTs I could find.

I believe while I was deleting things I must have emptied the recycle bin for when i looked I found it empty. I usually do not empty for a few days but nothing was there. Maybe I deleted other things I cannot find but do not need. And maybe some posts I thought I posted were not actually posted. Unsure now.
