Shadow Copy NTBACKUP help

    Windows 2003 R2 Standard DC SP2 Servers
    Run NTBACKUP every day Full on sunday and incremential the other 6 days.

    Shadow Copy starts and accesses my SQL database files during the backup even
    tho I exlcuded the SQL databases from the backup.

    Is there any way to configure Shadow Copy to exclude certain files or
    folders?

    I know that the backup will exluded the files you selected but Shadow Copy
    freezes these database files and that causes some issues that I am trying to
    resolve.

    It would be nice if shadow copy did not interrupt the database files.

    Any thoughs or help
