Have DuckDuck search engine opening in Firefox. How do I get rid or the search suggestions when I type in search bar? Tried setting Firefox Options NOT to show suggestions but still they come.

Google tracks your searches. DuckDuckGo does not.
If you don't want your searches to be tracked, then DuckDuckGo is the search engine for you. Curious why you wouldn't want it.

If I am reading this correctly, BGBG wants to use DuckDuckGo but he wants to disable the search suggestions.

Try turning off "Auto suggest" in settings.

I wont retype the two replies I typed then lost while fooling around with options. But I found the Remember History makes the search suggestions and Never Remember takes them away. But I have found i prefer to leave it set to Remember History and accept whatever goes along with that. Never Remember creates things I do not like. I can live with Remember. Thanks for the tips.
