How does one remove an entry from the scheduler? Left or right clicks
produce nothing. I want to remove a registration reminder installed by HP,
which appears uninvited on the screen every few days and although I tick to
say that I do not want to be reminded again - it does appear over and over!

Are you sure it is on the scheduled task list? ?
Have you tried the command prompt command at /?
you can then list the tasks and delete them etc.
Remember to ensure you are logged on with administrative rights to do this.

It is listed as "webreg" and HP confirmed it is theirs. How do I go about
your suggestion to try "the command prompt command at?" I am a self taught
user and not very conversant with the intricacies!
