    Hi Divyesh,

I don't know how much is known about the Atom cpu and would suggest that you give it some time before you act. I know we have some people here who will be able to give you some real guidance.

I have a Dell Mini 10v with the exact same specs. I love it. The Atom is great processor. I run Windows 7 Ultimate on mine and dual boot with OSX 10.5.7. You can't go wrong with an Atom in a mini netbook.

Well can I just say I have the exact same make and model of netwbook the Samsung NC10 I bought recently.

So I can give you comments on this.

    It is black and sleek.
It has a full sized keyboard.
It has one gig RAM but only one internal RAM slot.
It is the 1.6 Intel Atom.

    What a great little netbook.

It comes with its own soft sleave.

You can fit upto 2 gig DDR2.But this means removing the 1 gig already installed which is easily done.

The netbook comes supplied with driver install disk and recovery disks.

It also has the hidden partition which can be used to recover the machine to factory default.

It does come with XP installed however I installed Vista Ultimate 32 bit and 2 gig RAM and it runs great.

I did a lot of research on netbooks and reviewed loads and the samsung nc10 was one of my top choices.

It is well worth the money.

I do advise for anyone buying any branded netbook to please buy a padded proper netbook bag NOT a laptop bag.

I bought Airtech bag and dropped the bag with my netbook inside it.Protected my netbook excellently.

I fully recommend this netbook to others.

    JB.

I am sure all the recommendations given are good ones but when you have someone with first hand knowledge of the specific machine you can't do better than that.

Jelly Bean is very experienced and her views well respected here. You have some pretty good recommendations now and it the absence of any more posts you have a lot to go by.

I will add Intel plan to up the Atom to 2.0 ghz, when this will be I am unsure and will proberly only be installed on newer models of netbooks.

Thankyou BeeCee for your nice comments.
