I have an older PC running Windows 7, as I need it to run a version of Photoshop, which I use quite often! I also have another older HP machine running Windows 10, At present I'm using both machines! I have read that you can run 2 versions of Windows on one machine, by putting them on separate partitions, and also there is another way of creating a virtual OS! I have read good and bad about both methods! So I'm wondering if anyone could tell me, if doing this is worth the effort? or am I best working with 2 separate PC's!

It's called a dual boot and at this point, it's really not worth the effort.
Windows 7 support ended in 2020 and support and updates for Win 10 end October 14th 2025.
You are better off continuing with separate computers on unpatched Windows Operating Systems.

I can't speak for anyone else but I will be upgrading to Win 11.
An unpatched device isn't really safe to run, especially if you use it for banking.
