In an amazing video clip an robin lays her four eggs in a hanging basket and the home owners set up a camera to film the results.

Very good video, and so sad for mother to return and find all have flown the nest at the end.

 

I'm pretty sure that mama will still be feeding the babies once they are out of the nest for a while yet. It was nice that the owners could set up the video.

At a different time and place I had a junco make a nest and raise her babies in a hanging flower pot (petunias) in my little porch (there was a roof). It was a really special time, being able to watch them day by day.
