Do we really need the reply button at the Bottom of every post?

Is it Possible to remove it?

Do member want it kept, or would they be bothered if it was removed?

The reply button in each post should read "Quote" singular. It is confusing.

We are looking in to the possibility of renaming the reply button to "Quote"

Well, in both cases - they are Replies.

    The one case
however, does include a quote. Calling it Quote would differentiate the two buttons.

I think I'd vote for the first button to be called Quote. Not perfect, but clearer. :)

Soooooooo - we are supposed to REPLY to these threads are we ???

Seriously ( just kidding here :snckr: ) ......

The "REPLY" button in question is a bit annoying - especially if the poster hits it following a long post.
I am in favour ( or "favor" for my friends west of here ) of re-naming it if this is possible.
[Not sure how you would do this - if you find a solution I would be interested to know.]

    How about ....

    "THIS BUTTON IS USED
    FOR COPYING EVERYTHING
    IN THE PREVIOUS POST"

That just about covers it :snckr:

As you will notice there is no longer a reply button thanks to BSchwarz!! :) The button now says Quote and can be used the same as before. Perhaps now people will use the add reply or fast reply.

So what exactly does the multiquote button do that is different?
    Edit to add,
I was expecting the reply to contain the quote in Match's reply rather than just his?

Well if you click the multiquote, it greys slightly, then click use full editor, It includes all the posts you've clicked to multi quote ;)

This Tutorial has been in "Notes for new members new and old" at the top of the index page for 2 yrs.

    http://computerhelpforums.net/topic/4527-how-to-insert-a-quote-in-a-post/

I hoped it was self explanatory. :)
