    I have a ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 AM3+ Motherboard. I think this board is for Windows 7.

Would like to upgrade to a Win. 10 motherboard and still use the same parts now installed on
    the win 7 board.

    AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W FD6300WMHKBOX Desktop Processor

    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

    GPU - GTX 750ti

Seagate 600 Series 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

EVGA 450 BT 450W Power Supply

Rosewill - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case

    Thanks - Dick

Hi Dick. Welcome to Computer Help Forums.
If your computer runs Windows7 OK, then it will run Windows10.
A clean install normally gives less problems, than an upgrade.

    Thanks for the reply.
I want to change the motherboard so I can upgrade at a later time
There are so many choices, I get confused.

I guess you don't understand what I want. This motherboard will not recognize all of the ram installed.
I have 16 Gb installed and it only see's 8 Gb.
So I want to know what motherboard can I use to replace it with.

    Installed now: ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 AM3+ Motherboard
