Replacement Motherboard

I have a ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 AM3+ Motherboard. I think this board is for Windows 7.

Would like to upgrade to a Win. 10 motherboard and still use the same parts now installed on
the win 7 board.

Hi Dick. Welcome to Computer Help Forums.
If your computer runs Windows7 OK, then it will run Windows10.
A clean install normally gives less problems, than an upgrade.

Hi again, It is NOT necessary to change the motherboard.

 

I guess you don't understand what I want. This motherboard will not recognize all of the ram installed.
I have 16 Gb installed and it only see's 8 Gb.
So I want to know what motherboard can I use to replace it with.
