I got an email from PayPal recently, that was completely official looking, I went onto the pay pal website made a phone call and then was actually a party to hackers setting up any-desk into my PC, now I'm wondering how to get it all out! and be sure they are not connected to my PC in any way!

Go to control panel, programs and features. Look for any desk or any other software you don't recognize. If you are not sure you can search for the software on your search engine or post it here.

That would do it. Something else to consider is to do a System Restore to a date before the incident. That would remove any software that was installed at the time.

I can clean the PC myself? When I spoke to the Fraud dept. at Pay Pal they told me I would need to have it removed and cleaned by some place like Geek Squad! The Hackers actually took over the running of my PC using this any desk software, during that session trying to scam money from my Bank account!

I Uninstalled the any desk program, but it said there were items that I could try to delete manually. What I'm wondering is can these hackers still have a hidden spy in my PC from this any desk program?

We should add Everything to the recommended software page.

Yes, if there are any remnants left, EVERYTHING will find them.
It's a handy little program to have.
