In the last days of the old skin we had a preview button when posting a new topic, tutorial etc. This seems to have disappeared with the new skin and I found it to be very useful when posting a tutorial.
Any chance we can have it back?

OK I am going to tell you how to do that but please don't tell anyone else.

If you click on the "Use Full Editor" button instead of the "post" button the" PreviewPost" button is there. You can do this either before or after you write the post.

    EDIT

I can see the Preview Post Button when editing a normal post such as this one but not when writing/editing a tutorial.

Just one other thing. If you click the Reply button on the post itself you will always get the preview button but the reply post will quote the post as well. You can, of course, simply highlight and delete the quote but using the full editor is the better choice. The "Fast Reply" box is simply that but I tend to go immediately to the full editor.

All of this is in the skin by default but if it were up to me I would eliminate the reply button in the post. and let people quote manually as needed..

Saying that I am never one to full around with the look of the site. I am always afraid I will change one thing and screw up everything else. With everything else that Bob has to do, I don't think that is all that important but maybe in a few months when the new software has been released and in use we can look at these little tweaks. There really is not point in doing it now if they are going to just return later.

The only time we actually had the preview button when creating a tutorial
was when we were still using vBulletin. When we switched to IP.Board,
there was no preview button in Tutorials.

The Tutorials Discussion section does have and has always had, the
preview button. If one mistakenly created a tut in Tutorial Discussion,
you would naturally have been able to use the preview button.
