I opened an email from my dad the other day and it didn't load properly so I exited and thought nothing of it. He later told me not to open any emails from him because someone had hijacked his email account. I fear I downloaded a virus now because whenever I type there is a long lag time. AVG didn't pick anything up and I downloaded and ran Spybot on my dad's advice. It picked up the following "problems" Bluestreak, burst media, casale media, doublclick, fastclick, hitbox, etc. I think these are all ad monitoring software so If I get rid of them will that cause a problem? Thanks for any advice.

    Welcome to CHFZoomzilla! :)

Getting rid of them will not cause a problem but will probably not cure the lag. Have you been updating your AVG regularly (I assume it does so automatically )

Try doing another scan using malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free No one antimalware program gets it all and malwarebytes is probably the best. Make sure you select the free version if you just want to scan the system and do a complete scan. It will take quite some time.
