Photos and Videos

    I have an Android BLU G71 SmartPhone and my sister has a
    Galaxy A13 SmartPhone.

    Whenever she Text me a Photo I get the Text with an Arrow pointing down Right next to her Text.

    I Tap on it and it spins and spins and that is all.

    Then it stops and goes back to an Arrow pointing down.

    I never get the Photo.

    Everybody can Text me Photos and they are on iPhones and all other SmartPhones.

    Can anybody help me?

    What should I do to her SmartPhone?

    Since I have never sent a photo attached to a message, I am unfamiliar with the arrow you are talking about. I rarely text anyone.

    Android uses two messaging systems for sending pictures: MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) and RCS (Rich Communication Services). You won't be able to text pictures if you haven't enabled one of these features on your phone.

    1. What messaging app is she using? (I assume she is on android 12 or 13)

    2. Is she sending via MMS or RCS? Google Messages use RCS. Samsung is MMS.

    4. How is she attaching the photo?

    5. Who is her cell carrier?

    6. Who is your cell carrier?

    She can Text and Ad a Photo and send it to anybody but if she sends it to me I can not get it.

    I am using the Built in Massaging App.

    I would this I have to Turn my MMS on.

    I have TrackPhone and she has BoostMobile.

    Tracfone Wireless does not offer unlimited high-speed data with any phone plan.

    You might not have enough data left to actually receive the picture.

    Obviously, she is doing everything correctly because everyone else gets the picture so it has to be your phone/carrier/plan that is the issue.

    How much data is your monthly allowance? Have you checked to see how much you used and how much you have left?

    When I am in the House I use my WiFi and I gave 12 GB or Data.

    If I open my Massaging App the Tap my Profile Icon on To Right is see Messages Setting.

    If I go into this I see RCS Chats it ON and in Advanced Auto Download MMS is ON.

    I know it is something with my Phone because she can send Text and Attach Photos to other Phones.

    What is this Setting?

    If I go into Settings then More then Data Usage I can turn on Mobile Data.

    If I go into Settings then More then Mobile Network I see a switch that says Access Mobile Data Using Mobile Network.

    If I turn this on a screen says.
    You are using T Mobile for Mobile Data.
    If you switch to T Mobile you will no longer be using T Mobile for Mobile Data.

    I have Trackfone for my Cell Service.

    It just says to things in one screen.

    What is going on?

    Tracfone doesn't have its own network. My husband's tracfone uses Verizon. Your tracfone must be using T Mobile.

    Sorry but those two sentences contradict each other. I can't help because it makes no sense.

    I will tell you all of my Settings I did.

    My Phone is a BLU G71 and I have Trackfon for my Cell Service.

    I set Mobile Data to ON.

    I set Roaming to ON.

    I then go into APN and Tap 3. Dots Top Right and Tab Reset so it put a Dot in TFWAP Wap.Trackfon.

    I set Ato Download MMS to ON.
    I set Mobile Name to ON and it says use T Mobile.

    Is there a Setting I should do now?

    Sorry, I have no idea because as I said earlier I have NEVER sent nor received a photo.
    I also have only ever sent a handful of SMS texts. I've also only received a few SMS texts.

    I don't think I ever called Tracfone. (My husband has a flip phone using Tracfone. I've turned off wireless on his phone because he only uses the phone for calls.)

    I have Consumer Cellular. which has excellent support. I've called them several times.
