I do notice that the layout is a bit different but everything else seems to be pretty much the same. I went to find stuff and could copy a picture to my album exactly as before.

I would suggest that you start at the "My Home" page and it should be pretty intuitive from there. I do not see a "Help" section either but was not all that aware of it in the first place.

First off ---There was a HELP button & it was quite elaborate ( unless I'm loosing my mind --which is quite poss. )

------I have no problem doing that----What I'm talking about is uploading a PB image to my Smiles album . Can you do it Barry?

Already Went to HOME page ( been all over the site) & it is not intuitive about this issue at all.

    I guess I just don't see something---and that is very, VERY possible----Remember---I'm still pretty much a NEWBEE--STILL LOST--gunnner :)

I am not sure what you are getting at there is an upload area on the home page. Is this smileys album a photobucket album or a personal album on your computer?

    Skip,

I see what you mean....I didn't like the last set of changes PhotoBucket made a few months ago.
I like these changes even less. If they keep this up, I may have to find a different slightly less
complicated site for storage. So annoying....:( Thanks Dougie, very helpful to me as well...:)

That's the whole problem, Skip. I haven't found anything that compares with PhotoBucket. Maybe someone else has though??? They are really

starting to annoy me, I have 9 PB accounts and it seems like the changes are different from one account to another. The only account that hasn't

really changed in any way is an account that used to be Pro, I didn't renew it. I just received another email reminding me that it's now ONLY a free

account. Sooooooooo whaaaaaat, it will stay a free account too! :D :(

    You got that rite Cindy

I think this is the reason for the changes in PB & others too !:mnyeye:

Just last week "jing" had a update of sorts and in the process "would ya like to go PRO". And Paltalk is always asking me the same thing.

I have to agree with Barry:
    :agree:

Oh well---at least CHF doesn't ask me to "go pro" ( I would certainly make a donation if they had such a program) & the Smilies are free ( up to 15 ) so I use all I can. :snckr:-----------skip ;)

One that sticks in my mind is AVG, at one time the free version was good, but then came the day I received the message "your system has been infected, AVG free version cannot remove this infection, try upgrading to a paid version"

and that was the end of that, and since then it would seem AVG has gone down the drain. well I have no objection to using a free AV that collects info on infections and transmits it back to the developers so they can improve there software.

But the least I expect back is that it prevents the infection in the first place.

So hello Avast, I do like you, and as for anyone who works for or is connected to AVG, imagine an offensive hand gesture with the appropriate verbal abuse. :)

I dislike the new look, but we better get used to it.:)
I am looking for an alternative.
Select "MY HOME" up the top.Formally "MY ALBUM"
You can bypass a lot of Garble by clicking straight here.
    Check your Account settings,as well.

Skip if you want to copy a picture from photobucket then find the picture you want and hover your mouse over it. At the top of the picture it will give a list of options one of which is to copy to album. Click on that and this box will popup.

Select the album you want it to go into by using the drop down arrow and click save. Then click View in my album.

And it will take you to your album where you can get the code to post it. Like this.

Our member Woodyblade mentioned he uses Imageshack ... I haven't tried it but if it's free and any easier at all that dratted Photo Bucket, perhaps it's a great alternative!

That's a great tutorial showing the steps - and truly wonderful xmas card, pchelp68
