Last year I build my first PC. It contains a ROG Strix B550-F motherboard, an AMD RX 6700-XT gpu, an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X cpu, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB SSD, and a Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 700W psu. It runs on Windows 11.

Whenever I try loading performance heavy games such as COD Cold War or Apex, my PC will restart almost immediately or shortly after attempting to load the game. Otherwise, my PC runs smoothly. Temps seem adequate, as there are plenty of fans in the case. Also, all drivers are up to date to my knowledge. I’m thinking there is faulty hardware, or I need a larger psu. I’m not very knowledgeable with PC’s, so any help diagnosing this issue is appreciated. I can add more info if needed, thanks!

Hello and welcome Billmbay. Can we call you Bill?

Sounds like it may be a heat or PSU issue. Could also be a RAM issue.

It would be better to get a reading on what the actual temperatures are.

To check for RAM, remove some of the RAM modules and see if the problem persists or changes.

To add to Tony's post what size power supply do you have and what brand is it? Your graphics card is pulling around 230 watts so you need some over head for the rest if your hardware. Did it do this on any other games also? You can download a program called Speccy it will give you all your specs on your computer if you need to.
