I must have accidentally opened a window on my laptop and now I cannot close it. I was doing other things and this huge window opened up. I can see the background icons buut cannot get the window to go away. I tried restarting but it comes back. How do I get rid of this window????????? It is slightly larger than my screen at the top so I cannot see the X two close the window. I have never had to close a window other than clicking the X. How do I get rid of it. Do not really even need it. Would delete it if I could. Thanks for any ways to solve this. I believe I must have saved a copy of an order And it was in a desktop folder and now I cannot find a way to close it.

Never mind. I somehow remembered enough to know how to succcessfuly fix it. I have a program called FastStone Capture and often take a screenshot picture and save it to desktop. While I was messing around I must have clicked an icon and opened it and it opened large so the "x" at top right corner that closes it was off the screen. I simply never had this happen before and had no idea what to do. To save myself I did a system restore to 8:34 AM yesterday . I had really nothing important on the computer that losing a day would hurt so I did it, AND IT WORKED. May have been other ways but this wass less stressful and time consuming. I must have somehow enlarged the window by mistake - I do notice sometimes windows increase in size only maybe not so large I cannot see the whole window. I could still see all the icons and the desktop except could not move or close the window. Never happenened before in my 20 years of computer experience. Had no idea how to fix it but then Quick Restore came to mind.So it seems OK now. Now all looks normal. Sorry to bother unnecessarily. This window I can move up and down but I could not move the one before. If I had been able to I think I could have closed it. I found the icon that opened that window. I opened it (since now know the FIX, and it did open larger than the usual windows but the x was visible and I closed it. Now I have llearned HOW.
