Not sure what forum this goes in but I called Sears Parts Direct with a question and they said I could do an online chat. I know nothing about this, how to do it, or if certain equipment or software is needed. Can someone inform me as to whether this is safe and secure and how to go about it? I posted in XP forum because I have XP to do it on. If webcam is needed I have a Windows 7 with a webcam.

There should be a chat section or a link for chat on their site.

You may have to ask them.

Yes it is safe I have done this with various companies like my Cable, ISP and phone. It uses Flash in a pop-up window. You should have flash player already installed.

It is no different that using Skype.
