    Hey guys,

Last night something happened to my PC and I'm looking for some help now.

As I was browsing the web, some advertisements started showing up on my screen, suggesting to click on the links they provided. When I went back to my homepage, I noticed that it has changed and I had a new browser add-on installed. Its name was Omiga Plus.

What is it? Have you heard anything about it?

It is very annoying and I'd be grateful if anyone can tell me how to remove all these adverts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey,
Thanks a lot for your assistance. You've been very helpful.
I'll have a look at the link you sent me to see if it works.
I was doing a research on the Omiga Plus issue yesterday and here it's what I found
    http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-remo...-removal-guide
There is a virus removal program as well but I'm not sure if it's ok.
Do you think it could be useful, or I should not use it?
    Thanks.

Hi, please follow those instructions and post the resultant logs Craig, our experts are waiting to see them, and it is better you are guided through the removal than to try one of those fixes, they don't remove whatever else might also be on your system that the logs will show up.

I am sure the holiday weekend is interfering with out Malware Pros here but as Nev suggests the Internet abounds with these so called fixes for issues and please stay away from them as they will only make your situation worse.
These scumware producers count on luring in unsuspecting users with issues and offering false hope to them for their own gains.
