I have a free web gmail account and my wife has one also. My wife wants to have another auxiliary free account. Are more that one free accounts allowed for gmail, or if not is there another free email web-based account provider I can use?

You can set up as many Gmail accounts as you want Bill.
    They don't have a limit.

We had three with no problem. I have one. I set up one for my husband for an organization in which he was in charge of the membership database. I also set up a personal one for him.
We handed over the organization one to the person now in charge of the membership database. We told him to change the password. He didn't so we locked him out of the account. :lglf: That made him take notice and he was forced to change the email password and recovery options.

I now have forgotten how to even set one up. I used to have free emails I never used for anything but to to state one in case required in order to do what I wanted at the time. False name, false location, etc. A dummy email address for "when required".Had 5 of these. Now only gmail, and also a web AOL email I never use.
