Hello, I am currently experiencing something rather inconvinient.
I woke up and turned on my computer and saw that the display wasn't coming up. However the windows sound was present after the system boots windows, and there were no beeps or post codes present either, so I tried swapping around the ram and GPU to no success.
However I then tried to clear the CMOS and now I am getting a Dr.Debug code D6 and no windows boot at all.

System specs are(out of memory might not be entirely correct numbers but it will be close to):
    CPU - AMD FX8530
    MB - AsRock 990FX Extreme6
    GPU - GTX 970 Strix
    RAM - Corsair Vengeance 2 x 8gb
    PSU - Corsair AX850

I am currently waiting for my brother to come home so I will go to his place and test the GPU in another system.
Any help regarding what this issue is and how to fix it will be much appreciated

Asrock D 6 indicates there is a VGA/graphics problem, and at least according to the specs. for your M/B there are no onboard graphics. Do you happen too have a spare GPU to try?
How did you try to clear the CMOS? Are you certain the RAM and GPU are properly seated?
According to the owner's manual, there appears to be an actual CMOS Reset button on the top of the M/B. See manual pages 6,7.

Yeh, I tested the GPU at my brothers and replaced the GPU with a much older one, seems to work now, however I have a new question. The one that has failed me this time is in fact a card that I got because I had a defective version of the same model type, however I have had many GPU's none of which has failed me within a year, and at least not 1 within a year and then another within a year too (of use). Is it possible they could've "fixed" the defective one and sent it back in original packeging, because to me the probability of this happening is quite minimal considering the standards of todays hardware? Or could this "failure" of my GPU have something to do with any of the my other computer components, Mobo, PSU etc?

I think your idea of a repaired GPU returned to you is highly unlikely. Easier and cheaper for ASUS to send you another.
It might be worthwhile to check the voltages of the PSU. You can do this by entering the BIOS during bootup or Downloading Speccy(free) from piriform from here: https://www.piriform.com/speccy.
After you run Speccy, you can publish the results (on the bottom of the Speccy page) and post the link so we can look at the results.

Well, tried out that speccy program, however not exactly sure what you mean about publishing it, all it does is analyze my storage forever. Any other way to get the information the program delivers across?

With Speccy running, move your mouse over the File tab and click on it, the dropdown menu lists 'Publish Snapshot' . Click on that and it will take you to a page with a different URL (address). Copy and paste the address in your next post. This will allow us to view the information from Speccy.

There is no paid version that I'm aware of. The top of the window in my Speccy is also gray but I can click on File to get the menu

As far as I can tell there is a pro version of it, however I can click on file, but the save snapshot, and publish buttons are greyed out, not sure if this is due to the fact that it is still analyzing my storage (Wich never gets anywhere it seems)

The save snapshot and publish tabs will remain grayed out until Speccy has completed.

Then I'm guessing my speccy is bugged since it will not finish analyzing my storage space, will have to uninstall and try to figure out why it is doing that.

If you have very large hard drives or more than one, it may take some time.

Odd that Speccy is not reporting temps.

    Hi Androgles.
Looking at that Speccy report, I see nothing about your Power Supply, which I find odd.
Also at the moment, you are trying to run 2 monitors off a 512mb card. That's not going to work properly, IMO
Looks like you are running two Firewalls, which is a no no.
    What I would do.

Use one monitor, till you get a stronger card.

Switch off the AVAST Firewall, and only run Windows Firewall.

    Switch off Sleep and Hibernation.

What is the Brand, Age and Wattage of your Power Supply?:)
