NAME OF VIRUS

Some months back I had a virus detecte . Does anyone recall what the name of this virus was? I cannot find any postings about it now. It showed up in a Microsoft Security Essentials program routine scan. I posted about this but forgot the name of the virus.

 

SOLVED: I learned to search and found it was a Trojan Win32/Wacatac. Have used Microsoft Security Essentials and it never found any threats until this one and none since.
I have been running a short daily scan and wondered if I ought to run a daily QUICK scan and a weekly FULL scan?

 

Sounds good. Never used to run them much.

 

I hardly ever ran scans until one day I did so and it found for the first time a virus named Trojan Win32/Wacatac. Never found anything before that. I removed it and have found nothing since. Hope I am OK.
