Yes, hello new to this forum and like to see how everyone helps each other. I can use some help

I have. A 32 core with 2 processors 3.5 ghz Intel xeon cpu E5-2637 with 128 gigs of ram. I have 2 hdds that are around 600gbs. I know they should be sdds but still

Currently I'm in hirens boot cd doing some scans. I know there's something wrong with this computer bc it is going slow. I had some trojan warning some in but they showed up as regular programs. Then they disappear. I had one time where I did a fresh install and not even the secret admin had permission to go into my download folder. I was able to fix this but that shouldn't of happened on a fresh install. Also looking at even logs I see tons of errors in the system and kernal I think

I'm currently having eset do a scan on the hirens live disk.... Unfortunately I can't go into Linux because I have too many cores and ram. I also kind of want this to be windows.

Hello and welcome Matthew. You mentioned a Trojan warning which disappeared. That would concern me. Then you said you couldn't get into your Downloads folder after a fresh install. That's concerning. Some errors in the event logs are normal. We'd have to see the log to determine if they were normal errors or if they point to an issue.

Do a fresh install with known good installation media. Get new install media at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

If you're still having problems, check the hard drive. Actually, do a hard drive check before doing anything else.

Your computer should be screaming fast. If you did the clean install correctly, and it's still slow, then you answered your own question by stating, "I know they should be sdds".
