MS Force Feedback Pro.

    I have a Microsoft Force Feedback Pro joystick that does not behave with my XP Pro system and Flight Sims. The disk that came with it says 'Sidewinder Game Device Software 2.0'. If I try to run the disk, I get the error message, "Cannot instal M.S Sidwinder game device software on current operating system".

    Is there an XP update for the software?

    Last I heard, MS has set their policy at 'we don't support our sidewinder joysticks under XP'. In fact, they go so far as to insure that they most definately do not work under XP. Why an MS operating system doesn't support an MS device is beyond me, but there you have it.
