mouse is eratic

    my mouse is driving me crazy it will stop for a couple of seconds then start working again sometimes it happens like every 10 sec. I thought it was a game I was playing so I tried another, same thing sdo I went to my cesk top same thing, sometimes it makes a sound like ding dong and it will stay dead for a couple of minutes then ding and comes back.!!!!

    The ding dong is the computer saying a USB device has disconnected or connected. Sounds like you may have a bad mouse. Try another or if it’s wireless, replace the batteries.

    I think I tried that a while ago but I’ll try again. It doesn’t make that sound all the time though

    I would also try a different USB port.

    I tried another mouse and so far so good, will see if it lasts
