This will replace a prior thread Found HERE The old one has far too many broken links and improperly embedded URLs. Nonetheless it is worth a look.

Thanks Redwing. Love Louisiana Cajun music and especially Van Broussard.
    Nice beat and easy listening.

OK, I give up. ;) Can't figure out how to embed a YouTube video here. I still have to post a link. This goes back to 1969 and is the best version of the House Of The Rising Sun I'ver ever heard. It is done by Frijid Pink and has a light touch of Metal to it.

OK! I have NO IDEA how I just did that. I just pasted the YouTube page link. This software must parse the link for the video.

BTW, if you get the same followup titles that I did after the video plays there is not a loser in the batch!

OK, will do. :) Thanks, Rich. Here is another Frijid Pink song called God Gave Me You. About as mellow as they got. Actually a rather pretty song.

WELL! If you insist on bring Slowhand into the mix here is a really nice live version of Wonderful Tonight. It's a little different than the studio cuts but very sweet. To be honest I have a soft spot for this song. Except that it wasn't me with the aching head it is a very close outline of a GREAT first date I had when I lived in Ft. Worth Texas.

Power of Love by Jennifer Rush ... she has a beautiful strong voice and does the song justice. Enjoy.

Well, I remember a post you made, a while ago, saying that you would like to trade something for an Alanis CD. So, I thought you would enjoy this song. She is another Canadian teasure, lovely voice and wonderful girl.

What a great lot of music, enjoyed every bit!

The House of the Rising Sun has to be one of my most alltime favorites!   I used to love to play that on the electric organ...wow does that ever bring back memories!
