A nice little find Dougie, very handy. This will go in to my "emergency" tool kit.

Yes. A good find Doug. Works nicely. Found a number of things I never knew existed, LOL.

How do we know this is not a malware or trojan application?

    Welcome to CHF Maverick,

Abelssoft is a reputable software manufacturer and would not be involved in any type of malware program.
In addition, DSTM, Rowal and I have all tested this piece of software and have deemed it a useful tool. I
personally always scan all software before installing it with Eset Nod32, Superantispyware and Malwarebytes.

Just to be clear, we do not allow random posting of software recommendations. If a member joins and simply posts a software recommendation it is often looked upon as spam and removed from the forums. We take a different view if the software recommendation is part of an attempt to resolve another member's issues.

In either case we examine the post thoroughly. DSTM is a senior member of our staff whose recommendations do not require the kind of scrutiny needed when a new member posts. It is perfectly OK to disagree with anyone (including staff members) about the quality or usefulness of any software recommendation however, when it comes to safety, we trust our staff members implicitly and hope that our members will as well.

I personally have found MyKeyFinder (Abelssoft) to be the better product. It didn't not give off an antivirus
warning and has typically found 37% more license keys than Jellybean. My recommendation is definitely for
Abelssoft MyKeyFinder, hands down. Thanks again Dougie, great find!

I use other software from Abelssoft and can say I have had no issues with malware or the company. I consider them to be reputable.
