Not a real problem but thought I'd mention it. If I come to the forum, browse the pages not logged in and then see a topic I want to add to, LastPass will not fill in the login fields at the top of that page. Click login/signup and the fields remain blank.

I have to go to the Title Page of the particular section where the post is, or go to the forum Home Page and click the login/signup button. LastPass then fills in the login fields.

This doesn't fix your issue, Mart. I stay logged in, with a short cut from my Desktop.
    Works for me.

Any reason not to rely on LastPass? Just let your browser remember. When logging in, click on the Remember Me checkbox. Next time you visit the site, you'll be automatically logged by your browser.

People rely too much on programs like LassPass.
Never used it, never needed it and never intend to.

Thanks for the answers. The question wasn't to do with whether I should or shouldn't use LastPass ..or finding out who would and wouldn't use it. I mean, it surely must be known that I've been around computers long enough to have developed my own ways and preferences. They aren't the same as other people's but I don't mind their choices and advise accordingly if I can.

I only mentioned the inconvenience because I don't have it elsewhere and wondered if there might be a 'not too troublesome' way of curing it in the forum software. No worries if not. If it is because of using LastPass, I can live with it. I've thought about mentioning it a few times but haven't because it is only a minor matter.

It's probably related to the XenForo software that we use here. Maybe there's a setting that could be changed.

I've looked into the login settings in the ACP and there doesn't seem to be anything amiss or any settings that could be changed.
It could very well be just a glitch in the LastPass software.

Thanks for looking into it. It looks like it is an incompatibility somewhere. Something else noticed. I have two Chromium-based browsers installed. Google Chrome and Vivaldi. The problem occurs when using both of these. However, it does not occur when using Firefox. Logging in from any page works OK when when using Firefox (and LastPass).

Oh well, I can handle it. Thanks again for the replies and any logging in/logging out experiments people may have tried on my behalf. :)
