Dragging and Dropping URLs no longer works for me and I keep on getting a pop-up that says Firefox is not responding and gives me option to close. Then a new Firefox window pops up. If I try to drag and drop URL to desktop or folder it shows a circle with a line through it. Used to work. maybe I still have an older Firefox after installing a newer one ? Used to be able to drag/drop URL to folder or desktop or maybe a notepad. Now it has stopped working. Do not know what to do to get it back.

Also, in my C drive of Program files folder I have what must be hundreds of Chrome folders but no longer use chrome browser. Can I delete these???

At my age I do not want to upgrade anymore and learn to use yet another version.

I believe I am using Firefox ESR and when I upgraded I did not remove old version and may still have it. Just do not recognize it. And if I open Firefox window it reads 90% at the end of the URL bar-sometimes. Now I cannot seem to repeat it.

We've been through that - you have exactly one version of FF listed in your Program File list in Control Panel.

You do not need chrome to have chrome folders. I have never installed chrome on any Windows computer and I have chrome folders. Don't touch those folders unless you want to break things.

You have failed to clarify what "Log-ins not working means". That was the title of this thread. Instead you posted about the old problem of dragging addresses to the desktop which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work.

I think I was referring to the drag&drop of URLs to desktop or folders. Am unsure now.

Under Start-All Programs there is an entry named Firefox Private Browsing and I am unsure what that even means let aone how or when to use it.
