Linux Mint Password/Username Change

    I have researched this online, but to be honest, most of the Password changing Instructions seemed very complicated! I have lost my Password and user ID to my Linux OS machine, and can't sign into it other then using the Guest Sign in method, which is not acceptable! Thanks John
