Link colors

To be able to change the font color of links we post. Some time I use the title of the page and then link that to the page and changing the font color helps make it stand out. I always make them orange.

Are your examples supposed to be different colors....if so they're not. Both are blue.

 

Yeppers the are suppose to be orange and they look grey to me.

Ok so there is a trick to get it to work for me then.

If it stop working I will be haunting all of you...

 

For some reason it does not work all of the time.

The word example is suppose to be a green. It also has a link attached to it. www.example.com

 

It looks like it is working to me Rusty. Text seems very dark green in the above preview.

 

What theme are you using wonder if it may have some thing to so with that. Got it to work for me once or twice yet can not replicate.

Here is how I am doing it.

Copy/Paste the link in to the post finish all my typing then highlight the link or the word I have the link attached to and press the test color button. It changes the link to the proper color.

Yet the word that I attach the link to does not change. When I then click Post Reply some times it works most of the time it defaults to the color theme.

I have tried different browsers, changing the color before adding the link after adding the link.

I have not had this problem on any other forum I have been on.

That is how I do it. Always works for me too.

Word are not the problem Red Blue Yellow.

Where I have the issue is when I change the color of a link or a word that I have added a link to for what ever reason it will not always work.

Like I said when I hit for it to post it does not always work.

 

Ok what you do is once you have colored the link the 1st time, you will notice it then turns back to blue again once the http link is embedded right? That is the issue, so essentially you have to do it twice. Once you see that link go back to blue -- highlight the word again and choose your color again.

 

Nope still does not work all of the time.

For what ever reason here it is just hit or miss with mine.
