Just FYI

Just so you know... I own a Lumia 920, have for a long time. It has been Upgraded from 8.1 Mobile to Windows 10 Mobile. I have had no negative issues w/ it, @ all. And very much enjoy having it running Win10.

I only have the one phone. But, btw, I took the leap & Upgraded it to Windows 10 Mobile when it was, still, Beta; not recommended.

The Lumina 920 is supposed to be a very good phone hardware wise, and Windows 10 (like 8 before it) seems very good on a mobile device. My only issue is I don't like tiles I like real icons.

 

Anybody seen the new Lumia 950/950XL.....holy crap. I want one of those......

You know Microsoft could actually make a cell phone comeback if they marketed just high end phones like that one. The thing that kills them is apps. Example currently there are few apps for several major banks. Believe it or not everyone is transitioning over to mobile banking because your ATM is in your pocket. I have seen the data and I have seen the customers (literally) swarming to mobile banking. If MS does not fix this none of this will matter.

 

But oh my ... that thing is lovely for real.

 

You can set it so the 'tiles' have no divisions or lines between them... they are on the background (picture) but, seem more like icons (that way). Settings > Personalization > Start > Choose style Tile picture or Full screen picture. (use Full screen) Now, will seem like icons rather than Tiles.
