Wanted to make an icon with a G for GOOGLE to pin to bar as a shortcut. Made a jpg file of a G but it cannot find file. How can I make an icon file of a G for google as a shortcut? I guess .jpg not work for this. I HAD a Google shortcut on taskbar but did not recognize it. Need one I can know is for GOOGLE.

To have an icon that suggested Search I changed icon to a dark blue question mark. That seems to work.

Thank you, Cindy. I use DuckDuckGo search but I specifically needed Google and did nto realize I had a shortcut for it that I did not recognize for it was a white square with a Firefox logo in the middle. When I tried to make a shortcut .jpg of a G it did not work so I went to the change icon folder and found one that seemed suitable. Did that after I had posted. I am sure I made icons before but had forgotten how. Anyway, this works.
