Starting a topic (sometimes called a "Thread") is pretty easy.
Just click on any forum on the Main ("Index") page that seems to apply and click on the "Start New Topic" button.
Just give it a Title and type away. (Don't worry if you choose the wrong forum, sometimes they do overlap a bit. :) ) If we need to move it we will and let you know.

To reply to another members post. The easiest way is to just click in the box under "Reply to this topic".
You'll have most of the tools you need for a standard post.
It's worth noting that one of the options in this quick reply area is the ability to wrap quotation marks around any content that you have first highlighted.
However, if this method is used, then the user name of the person you are quoting will not be included in the quote.
This is a good way of only quoting the content you need to, rather than quoting entire posts!

Note: Only quote posts in their entirety if you really need to, as most of the time this is not necessary and is a waste of forum resources.

If you include a quote from another member and wish to have their name at the head of the quote, but don't want to quote their entire post, then do this:
    • Click the Quote button as if you are going to quote the entire post.
    • Highlight the sections you DON'T WANT to be included in the quote.
    • Now it's as simple as hitting the delete key on your keyboard.
    • Click outside of the quote box, and carry on typing your own content.
Once you have completed your post simply click on the "Post" button BELOW the "Reply to this topic" box or the "Add Reply" button BELOW the full reply box.

If you wish to preview a post made using the "Reply to this topic" box simply click on the "More Options" button at the bottom of the "Reply to this topic" Box. You can do that either before or after you type your reply.

If you have any questions or problems, feel free to PM any staff member.
