In gmail as pictured in the attached used to always show Compose, Inbox, etc. Now it suddenly went to a nonexpanded view. How do I set it back so it shows the Compose, Incox, Sent and Titles?????? I know it will expand if I click the PLUS in circle at the top but then it collapses again. I want it to STAY EXPANDED like before. Maybe if I close and reopen it will revert back. But I still do not understand why it went to collapsed. Anybody know????

Maybe I am mistaken but I would swear the inbox and others were always visible. I just closed and reopened and it did go to the full viw but as soon as I clicked something the titles disappeared again. Now I am not sure HOW it used to be but I THOUGHT the inbox title and others were always there. Now it collapses. I am loading the standard view.
If you cannot tell me a way and I am wrong it is OK to tell me I am mistaken. So I will know I am not going insane. Thanks for any help.

Click the Main Menu button. It's the three horizontal lines to the left of the big M in the upper left area of your screen shot.
