Every once in a while I need help with a computer problem from someone that has experienced the same. I will reach out to the members for possible solutions and then life will go on. My computer experience started in the 1980s when I worked for Heath Co. as a manager in one of their retail stores. Operating systems was CP/M, DOS, and HDOS. Up from there. Since 1998 after retirement I have been repairing computers for seniors in the area. Keeps my mind active. Repairs include replacing hard drives, install operating systems, repair RAM, replace CPUs, replacing screens, repair or replace laptop power jacks, loosen up tight laptop hinges and replacing hinges before break occurs. Removing viruses and installing tools to keep computer running fast and efficient. Training, writing tutorials (sample pdf file attached), volunteer teaching computers at senior center. The list goes on and on. But, you get the idea.
