I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL TO SOMEONE I DO NOT KNOW, VIA MY HUSHMAIL.COM ACCOUNT.
I ADDED AN ATTACHMENT OF A PIC, SO SELECTED THE ADD ATT BUTTON AN PRESSED BROWSE WHICH THEN OPENED A NEW WINDOW WITH
MY DOCUMENTS AT THE TOP AND ALL MY OPTIONS ON ONE SIDE, E..G DESKTOP,MY COMPUTER, SEARCHES,PICTURES,MUSIC, BASICALLY EVERYTHING
I NEED TO SEARCH FOR IN MY PC.
I FOUND THE PIC TO SEND AND PRESSED THE BUTTON WHICH NORMALLY SAYS OPEN, BUT FOR SOME REASON IT SAID SAVE, BUT PRESSED IT AND SENT THE
EMAIL, I WENT INTO THE SENT FOLDER AND THERE WERE 2 ATTACHMENTS, ONE OF THE PIC AND ONE OF THE WHOLE WINDOW, TOTAL SIZE 45,000 KB.
SO WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS WILL THE RECIPIENT BE ABLE TO NOW BROWSE EVERYTHING ON MY PC???

Hi gixer750 and welcome to CHF.

I was slightly confused at first:
Why would you send a pic of your system to someone you don't know?

No, it's only a pic .... nothing else.
They'll be able to see the folder tree, but not what is in the folders.

the reason i ask is after realising what happened i repeated

    and folders and see everything???

i meant to add, there were 2 attachments not just 1 i pressed on
and in total they were very big, 45,000 kB
which seemed to me that its enough to have all my imformation,
but as i"m clueless about pc"s hope i"m wrong.
    thanks for your reply

What was the file extension of the pics?
    e.g
.bmp .jpg .png or something else?
like you say....45,000 kB is very big.

Not sure what that is..... what program did you use to take the screenshot?
21.2kb doesn't seem to tally with the 45,000kb reference.

If you enail the pic to me i'll take a look.
I'll PM you an email address.

    Hi gixer750

    I received the email, thanks.
The name of the pic is... biog_img
this is obviously the name the pic was given on the internet by the person that uploaded it.
    The file extension is .jpg
which is a standard picture format.
    Nothing sinister there at all.
File size is 21kb which backs up what you said earlier.
So why the 2nd attachment was included in the email is a mystery.

What exactly was the 2nd attachment?
