Help with SideBar ^_^

I got my laptop a few months ago. I didn't like sidebar at the time so I
clicked it away, or something, I can't really remember. Anyways, In
control panel when I go to open it, it doesn't open. And if I click 'add
gadget', it says 'windows sidebar is managed by your system
administrator'. I only have one account on my laptop, since I'm the only
user and it is an administrator account. So any help would be great ^__^
