FEE FOR UPS TRANSFER TO USPS.

    An order I am expecting always shipped and delivered by UPS now delivers to USPS as a final deliverer and tries to charge a fee for postal service delivery. I did not click this come-on box in the UPS email I received. Immediately it was at USPS the next morning Tuesday 6- 18- 2024. I can prove nothing wrong with this but it has never happened to me before in all my years of ordering items. I am waiting to see if it arrives tomorrow, a day early for that will be its second day at local post office while it originally was set for Thursday delivery. It arrived at USPS this morning around 11 A.M. All sorts of weird stuff happening lately.

    This has become a common practice for delivery in my area but I have never been given an option to transfer it and I have certainly never seen or heard of being charged a fee.

    I received package today, got a notice from UPS and today is a mail holiday and post offices are closed. Guess that answers it. And....NO FEES.

    I just got an email from company and it said the package was already delivered by USPS on Wed 6-19-24 at 12:44pm. So there IS no package now. Weird.
