I have/had a program called FastStone Capture. Suddenly the icons disappeared. Tried to down load again. Didn't work. Has this been discontinued?

Now I can Log In but it goes away upon disconnect. Maybe because I am using a guest account.

I installed Firefox browser and it works but now how do I change back to Google as default browser? If anyone can tell me how to do this I will be very thankful and appreciative.

Does anyone know if my Fast Stone capture stopped working on Windows 7 laptop because it was version 4.6 and maybe there is some other way I can capture what is on screen and free. Any help to offer? I used to have it start when windows started and I could capture a part of my screen and save it. But it suddenly stopped working. I have windows 7 64 bit laptop. Would like to have the screen capture back again.

Click All Programs, then Accessories. Scroll down and you will see Snipping Tool.

GOOGLE CHROME: I just found I DO still have Google Chrome browser-it just was not set as default. I made GOOGLE the default browser. Very confused about all this now. If I click Gmail it refers me to the HELP center. I do not know how to fix this. I go to HELP center and do not know what to do next, ....Any suggestions??

AND, I find I DO have the snipping tool. I just type "snip" into the box to search programs and files after clicking the start menu.

Is there still a FastStone Capture for free that I can download and use with Windows 77 64bit? I had FastStone 4.6 for a long time and cannot get it to appear or work. I find I DO have SNIP but have not tried it very much.

Finding Your Windows Version in Run

    1. Press the ⊞ Win+R keys together. This opens the Run dialogue box on Windows.
      • Alternatively, you can right-click the Start menu button and click Run.

    2. Type winver and hit ↵ Enter or click OK. This opens "About Windows" in a separate window.

In Windows 7, left click on the orb. In the search/run box at the bottom type winver and hit enter.

I thought I posted this earlier but cannot find it now. Even though I had gotton used to using the FastStone Capture I tried SNIP a few times and liked it and I do not wish to buy another FastStone at this stage. So plan to continue using the CLIP. which is there for me. Never knew about it until now.

I tried the RUN suggestion and it says I have Home Premium.
