Hi. i have a toshiba laptop that runs windows 8.1 64 but os. When i turn my computer on it brings up a blue screen with the following error message: ( recovery.
Your pc needs to be repaired
A required device isnt connected or cant be accessed
    Error code:0xc00000158
You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. if you dont have any installation media like a disc or usb device contact your system administrator or pc manufacturer.
    Then it has options like.
    Press enter to try again
    Press f8 for startup settings
    Press esc for uefi settings.)
The only thing it will allow me to do is access the uefi settings which to me is useless as i dont know anything about it. when i try to boot from dvd it tells me to press any key. i tried that and my computer just went to black screen and shut off. i have uploaded a photo off the error message.

Hello Rebekah and Welcome to Computer Help Forums.
It sounds as if your hard drive is either faulty or has become disconnected.
