Decided to start my own new thread lest I be "hijacking".
Is there a website that describes use of Disk Wipe or other ways? Also I am only going to do this one time so am not looking for an expensive or complicated hard to use way. Just want to get rid of everything there so cannot be recovered.
And what sort of USB device is needed for Disk Wipe?

Like someone said, it might be easier to just open the computer, remove the disk, and smash it and throw it away. Have maybe 3 desktops with windows 98se from 1998.

Yes that is what I do with old hard drives. Or I drill holes through them but I have a drill press so it is easier for me. I know not every one has the tools so a hammer may be the best solution.
