    Operating System:
    Windows 10
    · OS - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ? Windows 11
    · x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
    · What was original installed OS on system? I'm guessing Windows 10
    · Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? I bought this pc second hand, but I remember installing new OS
    · Age of system (hardware) - Not sure because I bought this second hand
    · Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? new as I reinstalled the OS because of the BSOD
    · CPU - Ryzen 5 5600
    · Video Card - Nvidia 1660s
    · MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop) - ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0
    · Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one) - Corsair RM650X
    · System Manufacturer - Im not sure what this is
    · Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom)
    · Laptop or Desktop? Desktop

-The perf report stuck at collecting data for 60 seconds. Not sure how to get it to work.

This BSOD only happens when I use virtual machine like Bluestack or LDPlayer. Before I upgraded to Ryzen 5 5600, I was using Ryzen 5 3500. It had no issue when I was using the old CPU. Then one week after I upgraded my CPU to Ryzen5 5600, I had tweaked something I guess and it started giving me BSOD.

I reinstalled the OS and set the Bios back to default but I am still getting the BSOD.

Hello and welcome Herrick, You've probably already searched for a solution on the web. My thought is that if you have a fresh install of Windows, you've ruled software as the cause. What's left - hardware. Since the problem started when you changed the CPU, I'd look to that CPU as the cause. Put the old CPU back in there and see if the issue goes away.

I would check bios version and if there is a new one update your bios.

So let's say CPU is the main cause, does it mean my CPU is not compatible with my motherboard? Cause the old CPU is too slow for my game and there is no point going back to the old one even if it works.

I did update my bios version because the new CPU needed a newer bios version.

Also I just remember, I changed my Ram like 1-2 days before the BSOD started. Is there any chance that the ram could cause the BSOD?

Yes it could be possible the ram would cause the blue screen.

I tried to use the old rams but they are not working anymore. PC won't boot.

If I have to buy new rams, what kind of rams should I buy?

I would check the crucial website and see what ram will work with your mother board. You could also go to your motherboards web site and check also. Sometimes motherboards and CPU's can be picky on what ram they use. If you have a problem finding it check back and I will see what I can do. You could also run memtest on it before you buy ram. If you have more than 1 stick of ram remove all but one and test each on separately.

What does this do btw? "If you have more than 1 stick of ram remove all but one and test each on separately."

Also why does it only happen when I use virtual machine?

Well if you check them all at once then you won't know which one is failing. What VM software are you using? Not sure why it happens in the VM it is possible that it is running in a certain part of memory that is corrupt.

I had a customer who said his computer was always crashing. I couldn't find a problem with it. Then he said it only crashed when he played a certain game, Spider Solitaire I believe. I tried the game and the machine crashed. Turned out to be bad RAM. Replaced one of the RAM modules - fixed the problem.

There must have been some RAM address that the game addressed which wasn't normally accessed by the OS and other apps. So it could be RAM as IJAC suggested. Can't hurt to look into it.

Try running a RAM test. Let it run for a few passes. Passing the test is not always an indication of good RAM. Sometimes bad RAM still passes the test.
