I buy a lot of new hardware, but I never remember buying new hardware because of a new version except for Vista which clearly needed a change of hardware due to a whole lot of last minute changes Ms made to it after the release candidate. All of a sudden there were printers and scanners that did not work as well as many wireless adapters requiring buying new hardware to move forward. I can't see where Windows 10, still based on the Windows 7 hardware core would necessitate any of this.
