diablo 2 please help

    playing diablo 2 starting 3rd act got killed so I quit later I went back and usually my character will be in town saying freds body but its not there now I don't want to start all over again is there a way to find previous saved games so I can start from the last saved game. I'm using windows 10

    from googling, it looks like it is here
    C:\Users\WINDOWS USERNAME\Saved Games\Diablo II folder.

    It's not in there, the only game in saved is doom

    Read in a lot of different places that the old save game information was in the same location of the game and after the update to 1.14 it was relocated to the new location. Some are old yet the info may help.
