    Hey guys, all of a sudden, any pc or laptop here stopped recognizing this monitor. Whenever I turn the monitor on it always shows 'No HDMI CABLE' and same deal with Display Port connection. Also shows 'The display will go into Power Save mode in 5 minutes which it does and if if press the Monitor's Menu button, it shows the 'lock' icon.

    I tried doing whatever I could find on the net and from this Dell resource here:

    Turn off the monitor
    * Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the monitor
    * Press the monitor power button for 10 seconds
    * Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the monitor
    * Turn on the monitor
    * Press and hold the button beside the power button for 10 seconds

    Any ideas please?

    Change the HDMI cable to a known good working one.

    If that doesn't fix it, it probably hosed. You could search for a circuit board replacement. That might fix it.

    It's pretty rare for a monitor to quit, but it happens. I did a search for Dell U2414H board replacement. The boards are out there. You can take a chance that there's a bad board in the monitor and replace the board.
