    Hi gang,

I've just been customising the appearance of various aspects of Vista
i.e Title bar, Menu & selected items. I would also like to be able to
customise the hover colour - scrolling up & down a menu in IE8 - due to
visual impairment, I find the default colour an absolute nightmare!!

    Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance
    Chris

    Colors can be changed from:

Tools>Internet Options>General>Appearance>Colors (You should look at
Accessibility as well as web pages can override your color settings and this
    can be controlled there).

Same problem here, I use the Windows Classic theme which forces IE8 to
use the settings chosen in Appearance / Advanced/ Selected Items which
it ignores when using the Vista theme.

wait.. if you switch to CLASSIC theme for VISTA then you can customize
the colors with the default tool. First switch vista to classic, then
right click on desktop and select personalize, then click on window
    color and appearance.

if this doesnt work for you....

I suggest you use firefox (which supports skins) or you can try
www.avantbrowser.com that still uses the internet explorer engine, but
    it also supports SKINS
