This just started to happen the last few days.

I open a browser Microsoft Edge and right away the bar fills with this: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

If I'm on a forum and trying to make a post, the posting box fills up with this \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

You can't remove it, just fills in again. So I have to reboot and it's good for awhile, then it'll come back.

Anyone ever seen this, and is there a solution to get rid of it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Ron.

I think your "\" key is stuck down, or its switch is stuck closed.

It certainly doesn't sound like a malware problem.
