    Hello!

Over the weekend I let my friend use my computer, and now I am back Chrome is acting up.

Basically I start Chrome, and when I search it uses Google as it should. Suddenly the browser closes, and reopens and then anytime I use it, it uses Bing search engine with a weird URL. I have attached a screenshot.

I tried Spybot search and destroy pro, it found and removed a Torjan. It then worked fine for about an hour, and now its happening again. I have reinstalled Chrome too, with no luck.

Hello and welcome Joe, You can reset your Chrome browser by ...

    1) Click on the 3 vertical dots in upper right corner
    2) Once the menu opens, click on Settings - it's near the bottom.
    3) Click on Advanced - it's near the bottom
    4) Click on Reset & Clean up - it's near the bottom
    5) Click on Restore settings to original defaults.
    6) Click on the Reset Setting button

You mentioned that Spybot found a trojan. Get a 2nd opinion by downloading Malwarebytes AntiMalware from https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/malwarebytes-anti-malware/

It'll install a 14-day trial of the software, unless you tell it not to. The full version runs actively watching what's coming in. The non-full version can still be used to scan your computer on an "as-needed" basis as a 2nd opinion. It's your choice as to which version to install.
The full version will cost you about $40/yr after the trial.
Either way, get it installed and run a scan

Thanks for the reply! It found something called Bloom, removed it. Restarted, worked fine until a black CMD screen popped up, then my browser restarted and I was forced to search using Bing.

Here is a video of the search changing: https://ufile.io/2a8p6fq1

Thanks so much for your help Tony
